Visitors are welcome to picnic throughout The Royal Landscape with the exception of The Savill Garden. There is a dedicated area near the Cumberland Obelisk which is ideal for picnics, with tables and seats overlooking the tranquil Obelisk Pond, and the convenient facilities of The Savill Building close by. Obelisk Lawn also accommodates a children's play area including a shipwreck and play equipment that is suitable for both toddlers and younger children. Please note that barbecues, or the lighting of any fire, are strictly prohibited throughout Windsor Great Park. |
