Cycling and Roller Blading

The great expanse of Windsor Great Park makes it an ideal location to explore on bicycle. Motor vehicles and motor cycles are restricted, so apart from the occasional estate vehicle you will often enjoy generally vehicle-free roads and tracks.

The National Cycle Route 4 passes through Windsor Great Park, and there is an extensive network of roads and tracks along which cycling is permitted.

  • From Bishops Gate - take first left and continue through Cumberland Gate, proceed across Smith's Lawn to the top of Breakheart Hill.
