Located close to the picnic tables on Obelisk Lawn, the new children's play area is only a short walk from The Savill Garden car park. There is a shipwreck, a climbing frame, toddler swings and sandpit suitable for both toddlers and younger children. The convenient location also benefits from the close proximity to the restaurant, baby changing and toilet facilities and parking at The Savill Garden. Parking is free for the first 90 minutes and then £1 per hour thereafter. Why not combine a visit to the play area with a walk around Virginia Water or a visit to The Savill Garden. IMPORTANT NOTICE - Temporary Closure of the Children's Play AreaWork will start on Obelisk Lawn on Monday November 17, erecting the marquees which will host Crafts for Christmas- a seasonal gift fair, which runs from 27 – 30 November. As there will be numerous vehicle movements around the site, we will be closing the Children’s Play Area at certain times during the set up and removal period in order to protect our younger visitors.
