The Friends are united in their love for, and appreciation of, The Savill Garden.  You don't need to be an avid horticulturalist to become a Friend; many Friends join simply because they enjoy The Savill Garden and the social aspect of the Friends.

Programme of activities

Our varied programme of activities ranges from annual highlights such as our Summer Walk and Buffet with privileged evening access to The Savill Garden to informal coffee mornings.  Recent events include an exclusive evening tour, led by The Keeper of The Gardens and The Park Superintendent of the Windsor Estate and Frogmore plus a Gardener's Question Time.  We also offer a programme of evening lectures by distinguished speakers and coach outings.

Providing Guides

A key aim is providing special features for The Savill Garden with income generated from events and our volunteer guiding service.  This allows us to make substantial contributions, as needed, to the Garden, the most recent being oak seats in the new Rose Garden.
